Learning Assistance
Learning Assistance Programs support the mission of the University and NKU's core values with special emphasis on learner-centered teaching and access with the opportunity to succeed.
Our mission is to:
- Improve student persistence in courses by helping them meet the academic demands of their college classes.
- Increase and improve student learning by helping them become more engaged and effective learners;
- Develop the writing, mathematics, and learning skills of students by providing tutorial services in a supportive learning environment that promotes collaboration, student development, and academic success;
- Increase college readiness of underprepared students by helping them develop competencies in reading, writing, and mathematics.
